In true Tassie style Leeya and Macka were faced with sunshine, rain, mist and snow all in the space of two hours for their very special elopement on the top of Mount Wellington. They contacted me from the other end of Tassie and I began my hunt for the perfect location for them in the Hobart area. After a couple of weeks of adventure hiking with my family we settled on this stunning mountain top at sunrise and we have no regrets at all. As we walked towards the lookout at Sphinx Rock we were rained on, during the ceremony was intense sunshine. After a quick coffee at The Lost Freight we headed to top to be surrounded by a magical winterland of snow which met all of Leeya and Mackas dreams of a winter elopement in Tasmania. Such a blessed experience that I will never forget.
